Dynamic Cal Assignment in Qliksense

Do we have "Dynamic CAL assignment" feature in Qliksense as it is in Qlikview?

Hey Sumit,

Can you tell me how to assign Token to existing Groups in AD in Qliksense? As of now i have created a group in custom property and adding the users in that group. But i need to change this and give token to existing groups in AD.

HI Nikhil,

You can do that by doing this.

1. Go to QMC -> License Usage.

2. User access rules.

3. create a new secutorty rule.

4. Add a rule where the group name = <Your group name here>

This will grant licenses to users who belong to the group.

Hey Sumit,

Initially i have done the same. But in Qliksense -> QMC -> Users, if you click "i" button in front of every user name, you can see the groups associated to them. So, how can i use this group information to give access to users for stream. Bcoz till now i have to go to every user and add the group name in custom property. But when by default group is associated to user then how to use this information?

HI Nikhil,

You should be able to use the groups associated with the users to provide them access.
Unfortunately I do not have a QMC to test the theory.You can create a Dummy user and try to provide it access. You will be able to test the theory.
