Embedding Qlik Sense Analytics in Portal and Web Applications

Hello,

I will like to embed some Qlik Sense visualisations in a portal. However, I want this visualization or the date in the visualization say a pie chart, is automatically refreshed. Which is the best method to consider, iFrame, API or any other?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Regards

Vimal

Hi Vimal,

Both using an Iframe or a mashup API, the data driving the visualization will be updated if scheduled on the server.

It totally depends on what you are trying to achieve. If , all you need is to add a visualization to your existing portal page, I would recommend you to use an iframe(through single configurator API) as that's the main purpose of this API. If you would like to drive a data driven, Narrative dashboard with more flexibility in designing the web page, I would go with a Mashup to convey such information.

Thanks,

Sangram.
