Enable iFrame in SAML authentication

Hi Experts,

I want to implement Qlik Sense objects in Salesforce using iFrame and SAML authentication. The SAML connection is working correctly but when I use iFrame, I do not get any response and SAML authentication keeps looping. I read that I might need additional response headers in the virutal proxy.

Could you advise how to set it up? What should be in Additional response headers? Should there be any other setting that I have been missing?

I am using Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows Nov 2023

Hi @mlamper ,

Please enable the samesite attribute settings to "none" and keep checked allow https .then try to access the object/chart on the destination side.

what licence did you assign to users who acces only the site ?

why did you use iframe insted of embed-Qlik capability

What do you mean by "embed-Qlik capability"? How would you do it in Salesforce?

I assumed only iframes can be embedd in Salesforce.

Hi @Raju_6952,

It works only when I am already logged in Qlik Sense.

Otherwise I get a Qlik Sense error: "400 Bad Request Connect your system administrator. The user cannot be authenticated or logged out by the SAML response through the following virtual proxy".

Any idea how to fix that?

Hi @Raju_6952, my fault, I had installed a new SSL certificate for Qlik and did not update the Salesforce side.

It is all working fine now, but just via browser. When I open the same tab with the QS iframe in Salesforce mobile app, I do not get anything, not even any error. Do you know how can that be enabled?

Hi @mlamper ,

cert on salesforce mobile app doesn't matter as it will just show not secure error while accessing the page but you can still access the same url, you have to create web page.
