Error when launching QS URL from Excel

Using a Windows 7 machine, I have a report in SQL Server Reporting Services that has a URL built into it to launch one of my dashboard apps. When I clink the URL within Reporting Services, QS launches successfully. When I export the report to a pdf file and click the URL, it also launches successfully. However, when I export my report to Excel and click the URL, it gives an error (below). Is there something I can do to make this work?

Can you open Chrome browser > press F12 (dev tools) > go to network > press F5 ( to reload the page again) > try again, see which call is failing, also check the Logs/ proxy/trace / proxy_audit logs, see if that can give you little more clarity.
