Export data to XLS, but with un-merged dimension values

Our users are pleased with Sense's "Export data" (to XLS) feature; however, when they open the generated file in Excel they want the merged dimension values to be un-merged. Does Sense provide an option for that?

What do you mean by merged-unmerged dimension?

Can you post an image, file or something for better understanding.
