Exporting Data in Qlik Sense

I wanted to know if there are any limitations when exporting data from a particular list from qlik sense ?

I have build dashboard which has KPI and other visualizations along with detail table view. When i export data into excel, it does not export entire data set. Some rows do not get exported.

Please advise if there is any excel version compatibility issue or anything else.

Hi Vishal,

From the documentation, look at this Exporting data from a visualization ‒ Qlik Sense

Hi Vishal,

Are you sure your app is loading the entire data set?

Thanks

Thanks Andrey. I looked at it. But i dont have any such issues with my data set. Still export is incomplete.

I had the same issue on desktop - had to download in packs of around 150k. If calculations are made on the script level it is possible to download this data there using STORE INTO.

Hi Vishal,

As per documentation:

The default maximum number of rows and columns in the Excel export file is:

  • 1048566 rows per sheet. For pivot tables: 1048566 column dimensions. 10 rows can be added after the export.
  • 16384 columns per sheet. If the number of columns exceeds the limit, the exported file is truncated and a warning message is sent.

This limitation is not configurable via QMC as of 3.x. Lines beyond 1048566 are truncated producing warning.
