Expressions aren't working, where to learn them how to use.

Hi guys,

For every use case I can find expressions either on Qlik help section or here on the forum.

But the problem occurs when I want use those examples in my Qlik sense panel. They aren't working.

Most of the time following characters such as - [ {  etc. are the reason why it is not working, even when I copy -> paste them.

I also assign specific tables or columns based on the tutorials.. but still not a clue.

Is there a step by step help guide to learn this?

Hi James,

This is often because you have to fill in certain fields. '[' is always used for fields when you have spaces in the name. For instance [This is an example]. Qlik will then read it as a field, while This is an example will just fail. '{' is often used in combination with set analysis and you can check set analysis for the syntax. Maybe also check QCC for tips and tricks.
