Fields that had populated as an incorrect field type

I have a customer that he updated a few data fields that had populated as an incorrect field type. This one is a good example - in our table Loan Static, the Open Date was originally populated as a Timestamp so I converted it to a Date. Everything in Data Manager seems to look correct, there are dates showing formatted as expected. He then re-uploaded the data, everything still looking correctly updated in Data Manager. 
When he go to sheets to try to use the field, it is displaying as a text, not as a date field, and is not populating any data.

Did you try using floor() function while converting dates ?
