Filter Pane sorting issue

Hi Everyone,

I am facing issue on sorting in Filter Pane and I need some expert guidance .

For my Period Filter, I have given sorting as Descending and it is sported the same while i click the filter. But once I select the filter , the top Period window is in non sorted form . I tried different option in setting to handle this issue, but I could not figure out the solution. Please help me to sort the selected Filter window as same as filter .
