Gauge Chart Scale - Custom?

Can you customize the scale values that show up on a gauge chart? If I choose narrow I get A. I would like to change the values though. If this is not possible, is it posible to show reference liens without the ()? It doesnt look appealing with them as shown in B. Ideally, I can set the scale values to custom numbers.
