Geoanalytics Maps not loading in Safari (iPad Pro)
Dear all,
We are facing an issue with geo analytics maps. Right now we are in UAT phase and we have a serious issue with Maps.
Our users access QS applications via iPad Pro and the geo analytics maps are not loading at all.
The error message is Error Connecting to server (404).
however , if they access the application via Chrome browser on the iPad , then they are able to see the maps.
Also , when i access the QS applications via (internal network) , the maps are loading in both Safari and Chrome browser.
Can anyone please guide me on where could be the issue.
Is it still a certificate issue ? or any other setting to be done for Safari browser when accessed via external network.
Appreciate your response
Thanks in advance
Veena

Are you connecting to your own GeoAnalytics server or Qlik GeoAnalytics cloud?
If it is your own, then we need to make sure you have direct access to geoanalytics externally, Test the following URL externally:
http://GeoServer/ravegeo/geoanalytics/api/testConnection?version=1.2
The expected result is "Welcome to your friendly GeoAnalytics servlet." IF you get anything else, it seems that GeoAnalytics is blocked.
There is a misconception, that GeoAnalytics works like this
End user open app > QS Server connects to QGA > Map loads = Wrong
End user opens app > End-user must have direct access > Map loads = correct.

When you refer "Internal network", do you mean, that you have a Proxy for external used? or you are using the same proxy for internal and external use? Anyways, Access the hub ( to open the app that contain the QGA map) are you opening in HTTP or HTTPS, and that GeoAnalytics server is set to HTTP or HTTPS?

Hi,
We are connecting to our own geoanalytics server
When i connect externally to the geoanalytics server , the site is taking too long to respond and is not reachable. however the same is accessible when i connect internally.
When i use the Qlik geoanalytics Cloud maps are loaded without any issues.
Thank you so much for your response. We now know where the issue is.
Thanks once again.
