Help please Qlik DataTransfer unable to install

Hi,

I'm new to Qlik Sense Saas

I am trying to install Qlik DataTransfer but it's showing me the error of Service user validation failed.

What user name am I going to use, is it my Qlik subscription login or my computer login? Do I have to install Qlik DataTransfer on a server or can I install it in my local computer

I have tested both in server and local computer and it shows the same error, i have tested using my local computer credentials and also my Qlik login details

Please help

The installation has been completed by the help of https://community.qlik.com/t5/New-to-Qlik-Sense/Unable-to-install-Qlik-Sense-Server/td-p/1393570

but after installation all I can see is a white screen.

I followed https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/QlikDataTransfer/trouble... this link but I can't find either of these folders, certificate and DataUploadService

  1. C:\ProgramData\Qlik\DataTransfer\DataUpload\certificate and delete the certificates there.
  2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Qlik\DataTransfer\DataUploadService\install-utils.

all I see it the below, just blank white screen, I think it's something to do with the certificates

C:\ProgramData\Qlik\DataTransfer\certificates folder does not exist in this folder location

Might be, you can uninstall and restart the machine . And then, try to install from scratch with latest version of data transfer

I have tried that but unfortunately unsuccessful, what I have done is installed the QDT in a server and it installed perfectly fine and the certificate folder is showing and the app opens fine

does that mean I can only install this app in a server and not able to install it in my work laptop?

I have checked that and I am running Microsoft Windows 10 64 bit

Am not sure, whether you're connecting Prod or Dev.

If Ram & cpu also satisfied, then please raise ticket / contact ur Qlik support team.
