How can I get the value of the current selection of any object

Hi everybody

I'm a begginer in Qlik Sense, so I have to get the value selected of a filter (months) and the value selected of the the bar char (years).

Basically, I need to calculate the avg of sales depending of the values selected.

Can you share some sample data or qvf to help understand the question?

If your data model is well connected, you won't need to do anything to filter your expression based on selections. Avg(Sales) should automatically filter to show whatever is within that selection.
