How do you ”overcome” Qlik’s responsiveness when it removes value labels etc.?

Hi all,

I have a general problem with how Qlik natively handles responsiveness – and I have not figured out how to deal with it so that the users get the experience that I want them to have.

I have attached a video that shows a dashboard that I have made in Qlik. The elements of the dashboard are inside a Layout container. In Sheet properties, the Sheet size is set to “Responsive” (standard setting from Qlik’s side).

The video shows that the layout works with 80 % zoom in the browser (everything is visible), but when I change the zoom in the browser to 100 % / 110 %, some elements (value labels and axis labels) disappear, and it is impossible go get any kind sense out of those visualizations.

What do you do to handle this native behaviour of Qlik?

I am not interested in using the “Extend sheet” feature. Also, I do not find setting the "Sheet size" to "Custom" appealing (since this also causes viewing problems in many circumstances), so I am looking for other options / solutions.

Hi you can follow some points mentioned below

Sheet size: Responsive

✔ Design at 100% zoom only

✔ KPIs for numbers

✔ Charts for trends

✔ Smaller fonts

✔ Fewer containers

✔ Clear user guidance
