How much data can Qlik Sense use?

Hi,

is there a limit how much data Qlik Sense can use? For example i have a database with 30 tables and together 300.000.000 datasets (or records?). Is it to much?

HI,

If you are processing large sets of data and your server specs are not massive then I would suggest to take  'Direct Discovery' route.

So that you can only bring the dimensions into qlik data model and keep the large fact table on the db.

Hi Walter,

uday.pasupuleti‌ is right, you should use the direct discovery option.

By the way I made performance test recent with Qlik Sense, and with simple data model (1dim, 1fact), I stopped at 28 000 000 rows, and still works well and rapidly.

The scalability of Qlik Sense is well explained in the following document:

Interesting to note, I have seen a Sense app with well over 80Million records run with no lag at all
