How to count the dates ?

I have a application name filed and date field in the spread sheet. I am trying to develop a bar chart with date on X-axis and applications name on Y axis .How to count the  date , if multiple applications are migrated on the same date.

Hello,

You can take Date as dimension and Count(Applications) as a measure to see how many applications migrated on each date (if I understood correctly).
