How to distribute excel report to a sharepoint with Qlik nprinting may 2022

Hello,

I am using Qlik sense enterprise august 2022 and Qlik Nprinting may2022.

I would like to know how to distribute my excel report to a sharepoint, is that possible? if so how do we do that with Nprinting may2022 please? I read many posts about that with nprinting 16 and 17 and still can't make it work.

I tried to put the path to the sharepoint folder I wanted and put it in destination -> folder by respecting the UNC (universal naming convention) but it doesn't work.

ps: I have access to the sharepoint of course.

Has anyone ever tried to distribute a report to a sharepoint please?

Thanks a lot for any helpful idea.

Hello,

Yes it is possible to use the UNC path to the network share associated with the sharepoint server.

However it is critical that

  • the network path is accessible without requiring to log in to access the network share ie: same domain as the NPrinting server.
  • the NP scheduler service user account specifically requires access to the network share.
  • The network share must not be a mapped drive

For details, visit: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2022/Content/NPrinting/AdministeringQVNprinting/Folder-dest...

Requirements

Your Qlik NPrinting user account which runs the Qlik NPrinting scheduler service must have full NTFS file and folder network access in order to share network folder resources.

The Qlik NPrinting user must have the Developer or Administrator security role to create destination folders.

Warning noteMapped network drives, like Z:\NPrintingServer\QlikViewDocuments, are not supported by Qlik NPrinting. You must use Universal Naming Convention (UNC) paths, such as \\ServerName\NPrintingServer\QlikViewDocuments.
