How to promote code from Dev / QA to prod

I am new qliksense.. wanted to check the any best practice document  regarding moving or promoting code from dev / QA to production env. Not using the qmc utility.

You can export from DEV and import into production.

Only way available.

With PlatformManager you can not only do a simple promotion to any server, you will also get a way for easy roll-back.

And also quit nice you can see what version of files reside on which server.
