How to rename a native Qlik Sense component

My customer struggle with French translation of the pivot table because in May 2026 version, there are 2 pivot tables components :

Not very convenient you would agree ...

To bypass this, you have to update the translation file, but be carefull, I assume this file will be overwritten when you apply a patch or upgrade version.

First locate the translation file ; for me it's :

C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\Client\qmfe\sense-client\8.646.3\translations\client

There is one interesting file for French translation -> fr.json

Edit this file 

find Object.Pivot or Object.PivotTable

and edit the translations

Save & Restart the Proxy service

and voilà!!
