KML link to UK Post Codes

Hi

Does anyone know where I can get the KML Codes for the starting (district) UK Post Codes

ie that is first 1 2 3 or 4 characters before the space

I have tried the ones I found on the commmunity but these were not suitable eg

http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-7363 this was by county not by post code

Searching the internet has not helped. Downloads were either incomplete or the wrong format

Maybe I need to pay but I would sooner not unless necessary

The map is a brilliant feature (I have done a world map which was easy and looks impressive) but UK has taken forever and so far I have a UK map (based on the above community download) but its missing many areas on the map
