Limit what a dimension shows

Hi,

In order to limit business users from having to choose multiple filters, I would like to set up a graph so that it pre selects the parts of a dimension of interests.

For example, if a dimension has 'a', 'b' and 'c' as values, how can I preset the graph to only show 'a'? Would really appreciate how to write such an expression.

You can create a bookmark that is containing the selection 'a' and make this bookmark the default selection when opening the application.

I tried following the instructions provided. Unfortunately there is no "set as default bookmark" selection available. Only "apply bookmark", "apply selections only", "view details" and "delete" are the available options. I attempted "apply bookmark" instead which works when I'm in the current session, however once I close the page and reopen, the bookmark is no longer applied.

Which version of Qlik Sense are you using. I believe the default bookmark became available in the september 2018 release.

My organization is using Qlik Sense enterprise - September 2019, QlikSenseServer 13.42.1.

I'm aware of the language differences, but if I right click on a bookmark in my bookmark menu I get a drop down list containing the choice to "set as standard bookmark".

Hmm ok, I'll check in with my team to see if it's an issue on our end.

I'll follow up with you if I end up finding out why the option isn't showing up in our bookmark.
