Line Chart

Hi-I have a line chart with two measures plotted over time. In the time frame where there is data in both measures one of the lines appears jagged even though it is all generated data and should be a straight line. If I remove the line of "real" data the generated data line is smooth. 

This happens with the vizlib line chart and native qlik line chart.

Any suggestions on how to prevent the undulations in the purple line?
