Log showing "expired tokens are deleted"

We were checking our logs and noticed "expired tokens are deleted" quite frequently. What does this message mean?

Hi Allan, this does not appear to be a Qlik issue. Your screenshot shows a "precedent database" that you are accessing. I am assuming that when you access this database a token is required and once that session is closed the token is deleted.
