Looking for KPI object with Select in field action
Hi Guys, I have been working with Qlik Sense April 2019 and have 3 KPI's in the dashboard representing count of projects based on status field like Active, Closed and Not Started projects. Now the user want to click on this KPI's and have status selected based on the KPI he clicked on.
I was searching through community forums and found that this is something we can not do in native qlik sense KPI object and we have to use Extension for this. So I downloaded climber KPI extension from https://github.com/ClimberAB/ClimberKPI but it was not showing under Extensions in my Qlik Sense desktop. I don't understand if this is something related to version issue.
If anyone had a similar issue or had any resolution for this please let me know..
I have the similar requirement to do in other dashboard also..
Good to hear that you found our extensions! Did you unpack the file and put this in C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Extensions ? Because otherwise Qlik can't see it. When you placed it here, restart Qlik Sense.
Hi Jordywegman, I unpacked it and placed it in the same folder as you mentioned but still can't see it. I can see the other extensions like climber selection bar but can't see this one only.

Hi Jordywegman, It worked thank you so much but having some issues with exporting. I exported it to pdf just to see how it looks like but I was just seeing a blank pdf. I even tried adding it to story and exporting to pdf still seeing the same. Please help..
I don't have much idea about how the qlik sense prints or generates PDFs but the exporting was working fine with other native qlik sense KPI objects. I am facing this problem with Climber KPI only. I just exported the Climber KPI as a PDF and tried to see how it looks but i couldn't see anything in it. its just a blank PDF.
No problem to help! It's strange behavior and I'll ask here why this is happening. Did you try maybe the Vizlib KPI object and see if this fixed your problem?
