Looking for help on how to share Bookmarks via API or Extension.

I'm looking for an API, extension or documentation on how to share/email bookmarks in Sense.

I know the functionality isn't there yet but I believe that there is an API available to do this that does not require creating a mashup.

Does anyone know where that documentation is as I can't seem locate it?  I know this information was available but I believe that it's location may have moved.

Also, has anyone built an extension for this functionality?  I looked at Branch and Github but was unsuccessful in my search.

Any help would be much appreciated.
