Move .net to Qlik

I am working in Multinational company as a .Net Developer, i want to move on Qlik Sense Tool. Please help me this is better for me or not.

.net is coding.

qlik is scripting (very similar to sql scripting)

qlik is in business intelligence space so it would be a move away from pure software engineering ... if that is what you are after.
