Network drive map to Qlik cloud

Hello,

I'm looking for solution to add source from Network drive in Qlik Cloud. how we can achieve this? also how we can add Teradata as a source in qlik cloud as I'm getting error 'The Teradata server can't currently be reached over this network'.

Qlik Cloud, being a SaaS platform, doesn't have direct access to on-premises network drives due to network isolation and security considerations. To bridge this gap, you can use Qlik DataTransfer, a utility designed to securely upload data from your on-premises environment to Qlik Cloud.

Hi, 

while installation of Qlik transfer what credentials should I use ? as it is showing 'service user validation failed' with my admin credentials.

Hi!
Use a local Windows account or a domain service account with administrator privileges on the machine where Qlik DataTransfer is being installed.

The account should have the following permissions:
-Permission to access the directories where Qlik DataTransfer will store its files.
-Permission to access any network drives or folders that will be used as data sources.

The credentials required here are not your Qlik Cloud admin account credentials. These are Windows user credentials for the local machine.
