November patch 1 upgrade

Hello,

I tried to upgrade my QS server from Nov 2107 patch 0 to patch 1 and receive this error:

File action Qlik.Installer.Utility.FileSystem.FileOperationManger failed with exception: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.

Details in attached log file. Has any one run into the same problem? Please help.

I had this same issue.  Not brilliant but I was able to overcome it by rebooting the server and then applying the upgrade. I think the patch needs a patch!

Hi Quy,

Try restarting your server and check whether the Qlik Sense Repository services is stopped or not. Then install the patch. It will work.
