Qlik Pages

Just had a hands-on go with Qlik's new Pages feature preview and I've got to say – this is genuinely a step in the right direction!

Whilst it's still in preview and has its limitations (no cross-object filtering yet), I can absolutely see this growing into something really valuable for the analytics community.

What impressed me most:
✓ Single landing page for cross-app content
✓ Live data feeds from multiple sources
✓ Date comparison functionality (neat feature!)
✓ Easy to build – no coding required
✓ Navigation links for seamless drill-down

The associative logic between sheets remains the gold standard, but Pages fills a genuine gap for static operational dashboards and status boards. Perfect for executives who need quick summaries without deep exploration.

If Qlik continues developing this feature – especially around filter controls and cross-object selection – it's going to be a game-changer for how organisations build their analytics portfolios.

Great work from the Qlik team. Looking forward to seeing where this goes!

Hello @NAM_climber ,

I'm partially agree with you.

It's a good feature in the concept, but for big organisation, it's more complicated.

The main pain point is that the object are simple png, no section access can be applied to the page object. How can I deploy this in an environment with thousands of users with row level security ?

If I have a worlwide application, I want to create one Page, available for top management of each country, not only at corporate level.

I think it's a big problem for the Qlik platform, some new features doesn't manage security and can't be deployed in real environment.

Regards,

I totally agree with you from your angle , but this is just a preview to show which direction they are moving in its far from fit any scenario.. I have done a deep dive in the existing preview and identified the what it is and what its not .

Its a step in the right direction that's for sure and the more opportunities we get on preview items and provide active feedback will better shape future releases.

I would love to discuss your challenge in a little more detail and maybe can suggest something that works better . I dont work for qlik but have been around long enough help curate solutions with the tech we have .

do go into the preview and use the feedback button. Below is what i discovered on its current status 80% of the pages is there but that 20% missing could makes this feature really valuable :
