Qlik Sense desktop - vYTDYear in Executive Dashboard

I installed the desktop version and looked at the Executive Dashboard example app.  In it there are several measures that use a variable called "vYTDYear".  Where is this variable defined?  It's not in the load script.  It does have a value (4:2013).

Hi Bill,

I suspect this app was originally created in QlikView and the script moved to Sense.

You can only recreate this variable in the script editor, there are no UI objects for variables.
