Qlik Sense side bar extension issue

hi all,

I am using the extension from this location https://github.com/LorisLombardo87/qs-side-menu/tree/master

My filters now show with a drop down icon that I need to click on to show the filters rather than showing them directly under the green button. any idea on how to fix that?
