Qlik View Personal edition for learning and personal projects

Hi Team, 

I see Qlik Sense is the goTo product .

I am newbie and mainly learning and tyring to do personal projects and have some question . .

1) is Qlik view personal edition an outdated version of Qlik sense -in other words is the core functionality of Qlik sense and Qlik view woule be same ? I have seen the comparison chart but I am not sure if qlik view is getting updated within its boundaries . .

2) Does Qlik view persona has any data manupilation tool like we have Power Query for Power BI which can be used for free ? 

Any advice in this regards would be greateful

u can do ur own developement in qlikview personal edition ,the only limitation is u can't open the apps shared by others.

My concern stem from fact that -> I have heard mixed input that Qlik view
is NOT updated and its sort of legacy product and may soon be removed . .

So ,I want to be sure that its an limited version of qlik Sense but atleast
updated version wrt core features.

Kindly suggest if you still recommen Qlik view . .

my recommendation will be qliksense only but qliksense personal edition is not available for personal work/practise.u have to login to qli cloud.
