Qlik application hourly reloads causes data issues in Qlik cloud

Hey Team,

I recently noticed a hourly reloads issue in Qlik Cloud.

For ex: I have a Qlik application in Cloud which is getting data from QVD generator it is a straight view from my database.

These two QVD generator and Qlik app both reloads every 1 hour to 2 hours.

Recently, we are seeing data discrepancies in the Qlik application, like the metrics are being changed.

After sometime with the next reload, again the numbers are coming to normal., and these are scheduled reloads in Qlik Cloud SaaS version. Am I the only one who is facing this or anybody is also facing same ?

Hi @Phani_Kumar959 

I would just make sure that the Extractor loads first - and then on the schedule of the application I would have that set on "task event" - Successful reload of the QVD Generator. I think you might have a timing issue where the Generator is still busy and then the application reloads.

Hi @Phani_Kumar959 ,

Are you using Task Reload from App or Automations?

1 - I tested the new task chain from Apps and noticed, if the scheluder tries to start the same app but its not finished the last task, it will fail.

2 - When you do it from automations, it doest happen, because automations starts new instantes each time that runs, and wait the last  finish to start a new one.
