Qlik's Associative Difference/enige vs graph database

Hi,

I’m trying to understand what the difference is between the Qlik's Associative Difference/enige and a graph database. For me, they seem very similar.

Can someone please describe what the difference is, and is there an advantage/down side of using one or the other?
