QlikSense Desktop Installation Failed = can anyone help?

Hi, I'm trying to install April 2018 version of QlikSense onto a Windows 7 PC. 

I get "Installation Failed" and "An Error has occured".

(Not the most illuminating error msg!)

I've attached the SenseDesktop log file, is anyone able to help?

Hi, this was solved with the help of a colleague, we updated the registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer

1. Set AlwaysInstallElevated value to 1
2. Set DisableUserInstalls value to 0
