QlikSense reload task if reading from view

If I have an app that is reading directly from view, do I need to create a refresh or reload task in QMC to refresh the data?  

the script is like this:   sql select * from vrpt_abc

Hi,

Yes you need that, because otherwise there wouldn't be a trigger that is telling Qlik Sense to reload from your view.
