QlikView to QlikSense

QlikView convertor in Dev Hub makes the migration very easy. But in real world production deployments what are the challenges faced when migrating from QlikView to QlikSense?

I don't fully agree that the QV Conversor in Dev Hub makes the migration very easy. My number one concern is when I have to migrate a pixel-perfect dashboard with a complex layout. This is hard.

1. Qlik Sense has different layout principles - no pixel-perfect, no overlaying, responsive design - so you have to rethink the layout and the user experience.

2. Qlik Sense's objects are more beautiful from the start, but they have fewer options than in QlikView and it is hard or even impossible to customize certain properties.

Qlik Sense is getting better when it comes to advanced authoring, but I think that still some things are needed. I lost the count of how many times I cursed Qlik Sense (funny but true...) for not having a particular chart property.

In QlikView, even if the property did not exist, one could use some tricks and workarounds to make the magic happen, without needing extensions. This is harder to do with Qlik Sense.
