Refer specific sheet from another app

Hi,

As I was reading the forum, I came across some suggestions how to refer a sheet from another app in the current app (Sheet1 from App1 to Sheet2 from App2). Issue is, such solutions contained ready extensions, which I cannot apply in my QlikSense instance (cloud distributed). 

Did any of you come across an instruction how to reference sheet from another app without ready extensions?

Are you trying to link to a sheet on another app or load data from the other app?

 

And if it is a link are you aiming to preserve details of the current selection or just open the separate app new?
