Repository Service stopped working

Hi All,

Need your expertise.  I installed May 2024 SR 4.  All was working fine till windows OS patching.  After the patching Repository Service keeps stopping.  Log looks like this:

Based on the log, it's .Local Certificates\client.pem that is being denied.  Not sure why and how to fix this. Has anyone encounter this problem and what did you do to resolve this problem?

BTW this also happened on the dev environment yesterday and patching didn't take place, what i ended up doing was delete QS installed certs in MMC and reinstall the application.  This can't be the solution.  There must be something else that is causing it.

Hi,

It's seem the service account does not have privileges to read the folder. Please refer this article: Qlik Sense Service Account requirements and how to... - Qlik Community - 1713073

Kind regards

From Next Decision and mpc with love

Hi, I checked and it has privileges.  I even used the service account to log into the server and it has admin privilege and others.
