Just a friendly post to let you know I posted a request on Qlik Ideation about the UI color palette. As a Data Scientist concerned about accessibility, I find it difficult to set a properly functioning UI palette allowing the application developpers to correctly identify the colors defined by the company.
In short, I suggest allowing several UI palettes to be defined AND displayed in the application interface (as for now one can only define several UI palettes, but onyl the first one shows up).
I'm already working with custom theme file because I want the Qlik dev team to have the minimum amount of work left to do concerning the design of their applications. This way they can focus on data models, features and fonctionalities.
Sheet properties and CSS can be quite time consuming so I prefer to rely on solutions that need only one implementation such as the theme.
In my ideation I suggest to allow several UI palettes to be defined AND used in the application interface to enhance color management in a context of accessibility and design system compliance.
