Using Qlik Sense, I have a Dimension on the interface called something like IS Customer? and the values are Y and N. It's just a flag. The data is there and it works.
My problem, I'm trying to get the Dimension to default to Y when the user first visits the page.
I looked at the Set Analysis videos and help guides but none of the functions seem appropriate? SUM, COUNT, MAX etc none seem to work. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
It is that more of a trigger for an action on select. Right click on the sheet > Actions > Select in Field and specify the value and the name of the field with the flag.
You could use variables for a more flexible control, in Settings > Document Properties > Triggers
This is Qlik Sense not Qlik View where are Actions or Settings? When I right click on the sheet in the app overview i get Edit, Duplicate, Delete as choices. Thanks again
to answer my own question, i think selecting the filter value you want and "locking" the selection might work. This happens by clicking on the filter at the top dark gray bar and there is a lock icon. I don't know if this persists across all users though...
