Hello,
I have a question for setting a past due table using simple table. I want to sort by one measure "Past Due" column, and only show top 10 information. However, when dimension "Customer" set limitation (fixed top 10), the sorting of past due is changing (miss one row).
My first step is sorting "Past Due" columns as below image, and I have #4 is Thai Kitchen sorting by past due (I verified the data, it is correct sorting).
2nd step I set limitation in Dimension "Customer" which shows calculated by past due column, and #4 Thai Kitchen is disappear.....as below image:
Please provide suggestions for getting this problem solved.
Thank you so much!
Can you add another measure for testing - Rank(Past Due expression) and instead of top 10, make it top 50 in your customer dimension just to see the rank of thai kitchen, lets see where is it placed in the overall ranking.
Please see below image, thanks!
Sorry, I might use wrong expression. I have revised rank expression and get overall ranking. It shows #4 for Thai (which is correct). When I make it top 50 in customer dimension, Thai is disappeared.
If possible share a sample to identify the issue, somehow try to find that row by using top 200/300 etc based on no of rows you got, would like to see the chart to know more.., make sure the top sorting item is past due measure and the first measure in the chart is past due as well.
When I set top 143, Thai comes out. I think the reason is we have same value in dimension (which set limitation).
I found that we had 2 Thai (same names) in customer column when set limitation in customer dimension. And we had another customer (have exactly same value as Thai balance) in Total balance column when I change to set limitation in total balance dimension. So Thai disappears because we have other Thai (same name) or have other customer (same balance).
For this case, I tried to add one more dimension which does not have duplicate value to set limitation, and it works. However, we don't want to show this dimension in table. How should I hide it and not affect the result? Or any suggestions that could avoid same value when set limitation?
Thank you!
Hi @staceyzhang ,
I am having exact same issue.
Did you find a solution to this issue?
Appreciate a response and support.
Thanks.
Hi @seemawadekar ,
Currently I added one more dimension which does not have duplicate value to set limitation.
