Split in Qlik Sense

I am seeing strange behaviour trying to split columns from imported CSV files particularly trying to split on comma separated words.

I noticed there is a bug noted here:

Should I persevere trying to understand why often the split 'all instances' button is greyed out or is this a known issue.

Thanks for the advice and help with this. It's good to know the limits of the splitting feature and when I need to think about going down the scripting route.

Definately  resolved. I couldn't see an option on my phone to mark it as such.
