Task Lists As Failed - But Script Log Seems Successful

Hello Folks,

I looked through my tasks on the QMC and I saw that one failed.

However, when I look at the script log, I see that the script says it finished successfully.

Has anyone else seen such behavior?

Hello @anily86,

Thanks for posting.

Do you have the same error pattern as the one described on the Support article?

Cheers,

Albert

@Albert_Candelario Hi Albert, we are facing the same issue. We had raised it with Qlik support (Case 00305136) for almost 10 days now but no resolution. We are on May 2021 patch 5 and do not have the option to upgrade. Is their any recommendation how to fix it. System was stable for almost 2.5 years and suddenly this issue started. We are worried if Production starts to face this issue.

Do we know why this happens in first place?

Unfortunately, we are on Nov 2023 Patch 9, which is listed as one of the versions without this defect. =(

Hello @sandeepgather,

That could be a process from your system as well.

Please do check - How to troubleshoot the AppSerializer: SaveApp cau... - Qlik Community - 1930186

And I do strongly recommend you to upgrade.

Cheers,

Albert

Thanks @Albert_Candelario

We are on May 2021 currently. If we upgrade to Nov 2023, does this Qlik version resolve the issue?

Also, can we upgrade from May 2021 to Nov 2023 directly or do we need to upgrade to another version in between? Especially considering Postgres version requirements.

If your issue is environmental, none of our version will resolve it, you would need to find the culprit of it as per the article shared.

In any case, I do advise to upgrade to the latest version, May 2024, and latest patch.

Cheers,

Albert

Thanks @anily86

We did try these steps earlier when Qlik support recommended to do these. However, our issue is different from what is being suggested in the link you shared.

Our issue is exactly same as what this current thread is reporting.
