Text limitation of 256 characters in table object

Hello Qlik Family,

I am new bee and I have just encountered a problem in QlikSense  table object in which i am able to see comments (free text) which are of length 1 to 256 characters, rest all comments are getting blank values if it is more the 256 characters.

But when i queried the hive table (source for our data in QlikSense) i can see all the comments which are more the 256 characters, which are not loading into Qliksense, no script level logic is implemented.

No clue how and were it is getting truncated.

Please note:  i have also tried loading same details through a csv file and i am able to see all the comments, nothing getting excluded.

Hello @mebhavesh ,

Thanks for posting.

As per the description seems you might be hitting one of the limitations mentioned on:
Guidelines for visualizations, fields, and naming ‒ Qlik Sense on Windows

Kindly, have a look and see if is the cae.

Cheers,

Albert
