To exclude fields from dimensions

Hi all...need one help..
How can we exclude field year...from calculated dimensions

I am excluding from measure like
Sum({<year=>} amount)
But how can we exclude from dimensions.

Dimension -
Country &'-'& Date(if(multi=1, RDate,R2Date),'DD-MM-YYYY')

Is there any way so that YEAR field can be excluded from dimension like its excluded from measure..

Please suggest
