Hello , I have a Button object in Qlik Sense . I want to display a tooltip text when hovering the mouse over the button (for example : display "Mobile" when hovering the Mobile button).
Not possible in current version, You cam mask this by:
1)Use layout container
2.Add button and KPi objects and try to use both changing sizes and colors
It is wild how this still isnt possible without work arounds.
All they need to do is add a tooltip expression input to the property panel on the button and bind it to the title property of the button html element. It should be a very quick and easy thing to implement.
Agree and I believe many of the small fixes are on the way.
As you probably found out you can add this via CSS at the moment
Hi @JamesDA
There may well be an extension out there which has the functionality that you want, but then you are entering the Wild West of bringing in other peoples code into your environment.
More functionality on the button would be great, as would allowing KPIs to have more actions on click than just linking to another sheet.
Things are moving in the right direction though, and as @robert_mika points out this is something that may appear at some point.
