Using Always select one value excluding alternate states

Hi All,

I have a currency field which contains Local and Global. I want it to be always selected one value.

In my dashboard, I am using 2 alternate states.

If i choose Always selected one value for currency field then it is also including both alternate states in selection. Screenshot for your reference

Is there any way i can exclude alternate states from currency selection while choosing always select one value.

I want only default state to be selected

Yes, in qlikview we don't have this issue; but unfortunately in qlik sense it seems this issue to be persisting for long (if not since inception). I have seen many early discussions here in community as well, reporting the same issue since long ago. 🙁

Hi @Sumit2504 ,
We had some unexpected behavior when using "Always select one value" vs "alternate states".

Thus, to answer to this question,  we need your dummy QVF (with objects in 2 states)  + the Qlik sense version you are using.  Thus we can check the result and test in different versions (the latest for example).
