Variable Input as a Calendar ,Date format and functionality

Hi All,

Happy New Year!

We are using Qlik Sense Cloud and we have a requirement to show the calendar for Current Month and Previous Month.

Also, we are showing few Buttons for Previous Month/Quarter/Half Year/Year.

Based on calendar selection for current & Previous Months, these Buttons will affect. Once we select the Buttons the data in Pivot table changes automatically. 

Hence, created a variable for current Month as vCurrent and Previous Month as vPrev and using these variables in the Buttons as well as Pivot table.

However, we are unable to use Date Picker for the scenerio to show two Calendars independently for current & Previous Months. So, we used VARIABLE INPUT object and selected DROPDOWN with DYNAMIC option.

For DYNAMIC, passing the value as =Concat(distinct [Date], '|') , achieved the requirement.

1. When we see the Calendar list as attached, but we are looking for Year wise like 28/1/2020,28/2/2020 .....28/12/2020 , 28/1/2021,28/2/2021 .....28/12/2021  and soon.

2.  As said before, when we select dates from the Variable Input, can see data in Pivot table and as well as date details in both variable input objects. But either of the Buttons of Previous Month/Quarter/half Year/Year, the Variable Input shows blank
