Visualization bundle: Variance waterfall chart. How to control the measure used to limit the number of displayed bars of the bridge dimension

Hello,

We have a problem with the variance waterfall chart. We need to limit the number of displayed bars of the bridge dimension and the system doesn't allow to modify the measure used to limit it. The system always use the start value measure.

In our case, the start value measure is the sales budget and the end value measure is the sales invoiced. Our dimension is the product family. We are limiting the chart to display the top 10 product families, however the chart is limiting the top 10 product families based on the sales budget amount (start value measure) and we have no way to input a formula or change this criteria. This makes no sense for this chart, we would need to limit based on the deviation between the budget and the invoiced amount.

If we remove the limitation to top 10 in the bridge dimension then the chart looks fine, however as there are more than 100 bars it is useless.

Is there some way to change the criteria used to limit the results? Maybe via chart script?

Thanks,

Àlex

Hello,

Thanks for your response. I find it really strange that something I consider so basic has no solution or workaround.
I even tried the Vizlib Waterfall Chart extension, and it has the same limitation.

Àlex
